ERTMS Expert – who is Korail?

Korail is Korea Railroad Corporation, State-owned corporation of the Republic of Korea with 31,000 staff
Dominant railway operator in Korea providing service of high speed trains, intercity trains, metros, freight trains.

Ranked 1st on punctuality and safety by UIC & ERA statistics in 2015.

Operates more than 3,380 daily trips and transport more than 1.3 billion of passengers annually.

Maintain 9,697km-long tracks and facilities as well as rolling stock.

Korail Also, actively participate in diverse project development such as asset investment, Train Orient Development (TOD) and overseas projects in Tanzania, the Philippines, Myanmar, Mongolia, etc.

Railways recruitment for the project in Tanzania

Project: Consultancy Services for Operation and Maintenance Capacity Building for SGR Line

Client/Location: Tanzania Railway Corporation(TRC) / Dar es Salaam ~ Mwanza (1,219km)

Project Features: Electrified single track, ERTMS/ETCS Lv.2, 29 stations, 4 marshaling yard, 2 depots, etc.

Assignment: Review and prepare overall O&M plan, regulation, manual, train TRC Staff, support TRC for trial run to ensure system integration, create business model with identifiable parameters, etc.

Qualification: ERTMS Expert

ERTMS Expert

• Not less than 8 years working experience in telecommunication system in Railway O&M
• Not less than 5 years working experience in ERTMS Level.2
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Fields

Working Condition: 5 days a week, 08:00~17:00(1 hour for lunch)

Work Period: 3 years (tentatively June 2022 ~ May 2025)
